Teachers communicate with each other, and share each other's teaching experience, which can trigger thinking, produce wisdom, and realize the wonderful classroom teaching. On the morning of 9th December, 2020, the teaching and research activities of the chemistry group from Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High Department of both campuses were held in the west campus. In attendance were Principal Assistant Hu Qilin, Director Zhang Li and all the chemistry teachers from both the east and west campuses.
To be specific, teachers Zhao Jingjing and Zhou Sixin carried out the heterogeneous forms for the same subject 'How to Write Chemical Equations Correctly'. For one thing, Zhao Jingjing was kind and natural in teaching manner, focused on students, and taught students in accordance of their aptitude in that she firstly introduced the principles of writing chemical equations with examples, then emphasized the balance of chemical equations, and finally summed up the writing steps. For another, Zhou Sixin had rich experience, graspd the important and difficult points of this lesson with clear teaching level, always centering on two main lines: the writing principle and ‘three chemical equations’. Thus, the lesson progressed layer by layer with both gradient and depth. In fact, with regard to the heterogeneous forms for the same subject, we have different class types and different teaching methods. However, the presentation of the classroom teaching is brilliant. After the demonstration lessons, the teachers of the chemistry group fully discussed and made positive comments on two classes with different styles. The two teachers also won unanimous praise from Principal Assistant Hu Qilin and Director Zhang Li.
To sum up, in the teaching activities, teachers learn from each other and discuss with each other. Each teaching activity brings teachers development and benefits them a lot in the meantime. It's believed that such an efficient teaching and research activity can promote the teaching ability of all teachers in our chemistry group to a higher level!
